About Bryce J. Harden

Bryce J. Harden is an aviation professional and has spent over 20 years in direct contact with the field of aviation. He has held positions ranging from printing boarding passes, to lugging baggage, to marshalling aircraft, to cutting airfield grass, to buffing leading edges, to acquiring international overflight and landing permits, to managing the flight and maintenance schedule for an entire fleet of aircraft, to planning flights. Bryce has also acquired FAA certifications as a Private Pilot and Aircraft Dispatcher.

In addition to this advisory board, Bryce also serves as Vice President for the Youth Karate-Ka Association (YKA) Board in Flint, MI, as a member of the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals (OBAP), as a deacon of Christ Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Flint, MI, and as a brother of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. initiated through the Xi Beta chapter at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

After graduating from Western Michigan University with B.S. in Aviation Science & Administration, where he participated with numerous registered student organizations from member level up to President, Bryce’s path shifted to education where he worked within the Kalamazoo Public School system as a high school mathematics teacher and Character Development Coach.

Eventually, his path led him to Kalitta Air where Bryce has combined his love for both aviation and education into his current career path as a Flight Following Trainer for Kalitta Air, and Part-Time Lecturer for the Dispatch program at Eastern Michigan University. Bryce has represented the company with over a dozen high schools, colleges, career groups, organizations, and international institutions. He serves with a focus on creating opportunities for exposure, building and developing an eye for detail along with experience, and calling on a desire out others to strive for achievement.
