Our Story

For more than 30 years, the Metro Detroit Aerospace Career Education (ACE) Academy has opened doors to aerospace careers by introducing students to the skills, knowledge, and opportunities in the industry. What began as a local initiative has grown into a comprehensive foundation focused on building clear, accessible pathways into high-demand aerospace careers.

Today, the ACP Foundation partners with leading educational institutions, industry leaders, and community organizations to deliver hands-on learning, mentorship, and career-connected opportunities in aviation and aerospace, eg. aerospace engineering, drone technology, and aviation maintenance —helping individuals and communities prepare for success in a rapidly evolving workforce.
